The NGO, DIGNITY, has worked since 1982 to be a leading actor in the global fight against torture, applying research-based knowledge to protect human dignity around the world. Based in Copenhagen and working with partners across the globe, the refreshed identity had to carry that history and scale while speaking to a contemporary, international audience.

The refined DIGNITY heart, a symbol of care and humanity, is paired with a wordmark that balances precision with warmth. The refreshed system combines a clear, consistent grid with a colour system built for accessibility across formats. A typographic pairing of serif and sans serif gives the identity a clear hierarchy, holding both the institutional and the human within the same system.

The refresh creates a more coherent visual language around what was already there: a system designed to carry complex and highly important work across contexts while keeping the people at its centre, leaving no one behind.
