With Ex_Europa, Zar Paulo’s second album, we designed the vinyl artwork as a visual interpretation of a Europe in dissolution. A world coming apart and taking new forms at the same time.


The different compositions in the artwork are built from images, taken and found by the band members during the creation of each song. Processed and rearranged through coding, the visual language reflects the album itself: a fragmented digital universe with a nod to their previous album, Elendig Software. 


The recognisable Zar Paulo blue runs throughout the artwork, tying the fragmented and pixelated compositions together.
