We designed the layout and visual identity for Spis ris til, a book celebrating classic Vietnamese everyday cooking — family style. Inspired by the Vietnamese expression cơm gia đình (“rice for the whole family”), the book brings together Nina Minh’s cherished family recipes, passed down through generations. From caramelized pork neck with cucumber salad to spring rolls, dumplings, fried eggplant, and her mother’s lemongrass chili sauce, every recipe tells a story.

The book captures the warmth, color, and simplicity of Vietnamese home cooking, offering readers a window into a cuisine that is not only among the world’s best but also wonderfully approachable.
