For the first-ever Danske Uafhængige Pladeselskabers Musikpris, we crafted a visual identity that captures the core of independence in the music industry. A tribute to the collaboration between labels and artists, the design reflects the collective force of the independent music scene.

The concept is anchored in three key ideas: independence, unity, and movement. These principles take shape through a dynamic, circular typography, and rotating motion concept references the spinning of a vinyl. Combined, these elements represents the diverse range of participants—from musicians to labels to collaborators—all coming together to place the work in the spotlight.

The grayscale color palette grounds the identity with a raw energy, while the interplay of clean forms and subtle tones gives it a timeless feel with space to highlight the art and music for years to come.
